College Football Vs. Pro Football

If your a sports nut as I am you will love this article over why college football is better than pro football. I don’t agree personally with it, but it makes a great read. Now if you would have asked me how college basketball compares to the pros i would tell you hands down college BB is much better than the pros. In college the boys still love the game and they play it with a passion of a child in hopes to make it to the next level. In the pros it is totally different the money sinks in and the game has become prison ball in a nut shell. I would rather watch a solid team play over and individual any day, and I guarantee the teams that play as teams when more times than not. Which do you think is better pro or college sports and why? To get to the article click on College Vs. Pro under the sports catagory.

  1. MR. Jeremy,
Speaking from the mindset of being a proffesional athlete myself, I would have to say that many of my fellow proffesional athletes still possess the child like passion for our chosen area of expertise! Me for example, Im a proffesional cage fighter, and I can safely tell you that each time I enter the cage the fear that overcomes me definetly is child like, as in some cases I have been known to lose bladder control. So with this example, keep in mind, we as professional athletes sometimes tend to manifest our child like qualities in different forms. I truly and honestly can say, I still have the same drive I take to the cage as I did years ago when I would practice honing my awesome cage fighting skills on my little brother and any of his unfortuante freinds that he would bring home. I hope this clarifies for anyone who reads this that not all proffesional athletes are about the money, but instead we would simply rather be known as the best!
Yours truly in the cage of life,
    “SIMPLY FANTASTIC”

  2. It is awesome to hear your story. By the way I love ultimate fights their wonderful (if your ever fighting in the KC,MO area let me know, I would love to watch you) and I totally agree with you that there are those athletes out there at the professioanl level that still have the desires of child other wise they would have given up long ago. I guess my thoughts are toward those athletes who flash their cash or act like their better than others. To me this destroys what their sport represents, especially in the mind of child. In fact we all must agree that baseball, basketball, and football have long been Americas leading sports as far as being seen on TV (that is being to change as other sports take hold) so with that in mind we have so many of these atheletes being so self centered and hurtful that they have forgotten how much they love the game they grew up playing and instead they have replace it with thoughtless actions and self gratification. As a professional(teacher)I believe each of us should make a conservative effort to promote our sport of choice with intergity and honor (as you have chosen to do, thank you). For when we do this we truly see that the child does still live inside the hearts and minds of professional atheletes. Thanks for the response!!!

  3. I have a feeling he is not…nah he really is a cage fighter.
    I love this line:
Me for example, Im a proffesional cage fighter, and I can safely tell you that each time I enter the cage the fear that overcomes me definetly is child like, as in some cases I have been known to lose bladder control.
